Lesson #8:
Take a trip to
"Antarctica". Start with a quiz to test your
knowledge. Explore the links while filling in the Venn Diagram in your
"Polar Biome" booklet. At the end of this unit take the quiz again to see
how much you have learned!
Lesson #9: This is
a great place to get some help on writing a report on
"Antarctic Animals".
Choose one of the animals listed. Draw and color a
picture of it. Then complete the report form in your
booklet. When you are done, you can print out some information found at this
site to help you prepare for your oral report.

Take the
"Arctic Trivia Challenge"
to test your knowledge about the arctic
region.
Lesson #11: Check
this site out to read about
"Artic
Animals". Choose your favorite and prepare an oral report to give to
your class. A print out of facts and a picture is available for each animal.
Use 3 x 5 cards to record key words to help you during your report.

Amazon River rain forest is full of exotic life. Enjoy the links and
discover what life in the rain forests of South America is like.
